The Telecom Regulatory Authority of Oman (TRA) stands at the forefront of technological resilience with its dedicated power back facility, a testament to Oman’s commitment to ensuring uninterrupted telecommunication services. Located strategically within Oman, this facility has been meticulously designed and constructed with the latest technology, featuring a sustainable backup power source powered by a Diesel Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supply (DRUPS) system.

With a total capacity of 1.9 MVA, the DRUPS system is seamlessly integrated into the power infrastructure of TRA’s critical facilities. This integration ensures a reliable and continuous power supply, even in the face of potential disruptions, aligning with the highest standards of telecom infrastructure resilience.

In the collaborative journey from conceptualization to execution, 4Trust played a pivotal role in the design and construction of this critical facility in 2013. The expertise and dedication of 4Trust extended beyond the construction phase, as it assumed the responsibility of maintaining the DRUPS system until 2020. This underscores 4Trust’s commitment to sustaining the operational integrity of TRA’s power back facility, contributing significantly to Oman’s telecommunications infrastructure and reinforcing its position as a technological leader in the region.
