In a significant stride towards environmental responsibility, the Oman Cement Company undertook a substantial upgrade to the industrial pollution control equipment at its Line-2 factory in Misfah, Oman. This ambitious project, executed between 2016 and 2018, aimed to align with the latest environmental control measures, showcasing the company’s commitment to sustainable practices.

The upgrade involved the meticulous fabrication of over 1000 metric tons of steel and the construction of robust civil structures. The focal point of this enhancement was the installation of high-rise chimneys and advanced air filtration systems. These additions not only adhere to the highest industry standards but also contribute to minimizing the ecological footprint of Oman Cement Company’s operations.
